The Maldives is amongst my most favourite places in the World. A funny but true story was told to me whilst there. Apparently a German tourist was arrested for kissing a local girl! Anyway he was found guilty and the sent to prison, now the prison was a deserted island. One year later the officers came to take him away, but he didn't want to leave! He had made a little house for himself and was loving it. So cool was the story that the following year a German TV company came to film a document based on it. Can you imagine!
